Gifts for Creative Folks: The Art Bar

Chocolate Art Bars Image

We all know someone who likes artsy things and I'm pretty sure we all know someone who likes chocolate. So, why not combine these interests?

While looking up fair trade and organic chocolate products the other day, I stumbled upon Ithaca Fine Chocolates.

Not only are these chocolate goodies Fair Trade Certified and USDA certified Organic, but they come with these neat little art reproduction cards (collectible no doubt). Moreover, 10% of the profits support art education.

So, you get to provide a loved one (or yourself) with chocolate, an art card, and the knowledge that this purchase helps support art education. I'm not affiliated with this company, I just think the Art Bar is a cool idea. Hope you do to!

Flavors include:

  • Milk Chocolate
  • Milk Chocolate with Hazelnuts
  • Dark Chocolate
  • Dark Chocolate with Coconut

For you vegans out there, both of the dark chocolate bars have no dairy products. And how can you not like a company with these mission statments?

  • To bring together and share two of the universe's greatest gifts: fine art and fine chocolate!
  • To inspire people with the luxuries of exquisite chocolate and art in the midst of their hectic lives--because as Picasso said, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday living."Chocolate Art Bar
  • To promote and support artists.
  • To help directly fund both local and global art education programs.
  • To foster a recognition of the importance and potential of art in education and society.
  • To make the greatest possible social impact while leaving the smallest possible environmental footprint.
